heavy duty link module
With an 8mm thick waterproof, impact resistant, and pressure resistant aerospace grade aluminium casing, an internal 3500mah Li-Ion backup battery providing up to 48 hours of emergency UPS functionality, a 3.3V-36V compatible serial data interface, a fully dual redundant power and charging system, and utilising a WS-16 screw-locking aircraft connector for power and data connection, the BEDROCC ground stations' Heavy-duty link module is the embodiment of industrial automation. Featuring numerous internal monitoring systems and intelligent headless fall-back functions for fault detection and emergency situation response, these brutally rugged modules can be integrated into almost any machinery, vehicular, or sensory equipment.

Long range antenna
The HDLM comes equipped with a custom high gain, narrow band colinear antenna tuned to <1:1.1 VSWR and designed for optimal performance over large distances on even terrain, ideal for large acreage applications such as mining, agricultural/farming, surveying, and remote monitoring of fixed or immobile equipment. The length of the antenna radome is <30cm.

Locking ws-16 connector
The HDLM is fitted with a water resistant full-metal 10-pin WS-16 aircraft connector as standard to ensure simple, robust, and reliable connection to your machinery or robotics. The equipment-side mating half of this connector is supplied with the HDLM and extras are available upon request or through common suppliers such as RS-components and Mouser electronics.

antenna options
Acknowledging the need for radioelectric behaviour to match the intended application, the HDLM can be ordered with various antenna options including a low gain dipole variant for applications requiring short-range, high-intensity signals such as rescue and recovery robotics, external heavy vehicle control, and deep-structure penetration.
